Rehabilitation Healthcare Services


Rehabilitation Healthcare Services focus upon the physical healthcare needs of the persons served by the hospital. Current Rehabilitation Services, which are provided include:

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy services are provided by Physical Therapists and Certified Physical Therapy Assistants. An assessment and physician's order are required before treatment can be provided.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy services are provided by Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. An assessment and physician's order are required before treatment can be provided.

Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy services are not provided by directly by the hospital, but are made available to hospital patients through a contractual services agreement with a speech pathologist.

Restorative Care and Activities Therapy

Restorative Care and Activities Therapy are provided for Swing-Bed (Skilled Nursing) patients to meet the interests and promote the physical, mental and psychosocial well being of residents. Such activities are on going and information concerning available activities is made available to residents.
